My Projects Guide

Organize and manage your work with projects

📁 What are Projects?

Projects help you organize related work items together. Whether you're managing a direct mail campaign, a website redesign, or a postcard mailing, projects keep everything in one place.

Each project can contain design orders, tasks, and be linked to deals and departments for complete workflow management.

🏷️ Project Types

📮 Postcard Projects (9x12ers)

Specialized for postcard mailings with slot management. Perfect for 9x12 postcard campaigns where multiple advertisers share space on a single mailer.

📋 Standard Projects

General-purpose projects for any type of work - print jobs, marketing campaigns, or client deliverables.

🌐 Website Projects

For web design and development work, including landing pages and full website builds.

📮 Postcard Slots (9x12ers)

For postcard projects, the Slots section helps you manage multiple advertisers on a single mailer:

  • Visual slot grid - See all slots at a glance
  • Slot assignment - Assign companies/advertisers to each slot
  • Design tracking - Link design orders to specific slots
  • Status indicators - Track which slots are filled, pending, or approved
  • Configurable sizes - Support for 9x12, 6x11, and other postcard sizes
  • Slot count - Set 8, 10, 12, or custom number of slots

Pro tip: Click on any slot to quickly create or view the design order for that position!

🎨 Design Orders in Projects

Each project can contain multiple design orders:

  • • Create design orders directly from the project
  • • Track design status (Pending → In Progress → Review → Approved)
  • • Assign designers to specific orders
  • • Add versions and collect feedback
  • • Link designs to specific slots for postcard projects

💡 Best Practices

  • • Use descriptive project names (e.g., "March 2024 - Downtown Postcard")
  • • Link projects to deals for revenue tracking
  • • Assign to departments for team organization
  • • Keep design orders organized within projects
  • • Use the slots feature for multi-advertiser postcards
  • • Archive completed projects to keep your list clean
